23-year-old Vanshika Makol, from the historical city of Kapurthala in Punjab, has proved that every dream can be achieved by becoming a commercial pilot of Air India Express,
She is the first girl from Kapurthala to achieve this position. At present, Vanshika has more than 550 hours of first officer experience as a commercial pilot. Her father Aman Makol and mother Aanchal Makol are both architects. She has a younger brother Shivang who is a student of class 12th.
After passing this training, Vanshika did type rating of Boeing 737 in Spain’s Madrid in 2022-2023. Later, she was appointed as First Officer in Air India Express on 31 March 2023.
Aman Makol told that later Vanshika has flown as First Officer in many places like Singapore, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai, Sharjah, Dammam and Middle East countries. Makol also told that now many months pass before he meets his daughter.
Vanshika Makol says that she wishes to bring glory to the country by becoming a pilot of the world's best plane, Boeing 777. She dreams of flying all over the world looking at the planet from above the clouds.
