Priyanka Chopra while interacting with Dax Shepherd on his podcast Armchair Expert recently came out with the real reason behind leaving Bollywood and starting a career in America. She revealed that there was a lot of politics going on in the industry and the influential people of Bollywood started playing games with her. Priyanka Chopra also revealed that she was not getting good roles and many didn’t want to cast her for the same. Reacting to this, PC’s Fashion co-star Kangana Ranaut has come out in support of the actress. While Priyanka did not take any names in her podcast, Kangana went on to blame Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan for chasing her away from Bollywood.
Kangana Ranaut shared an article done on Priyanka Chopra’s reason of leaving Bollywood and started slamming the industry. She stated that it’s clear that Karan Johar was the reason why she left Bollywood. Kangana adding to this said that Karan Johar banned Priyanka Chopra due to her fight with Shah Rukh Khan. She added that the director harassed her up to a point where she had no other choice but to leave India.
During the podcast Priyanka also said, “it felt like I needed a break from all this drama and my Hollywood album just had the perfect timing.” Her very first Hollywood song came out in 2012 ‘In My City.’ Although her singing career was short-lived and she went back to acting. Later, she got the lead in ABC’s Quantico and from that time she has not seen back.”
This is not the very first time that Kangana has gone on to slam influential people of Bollywood. Earlier, also she called Karan Johar the flag bearer of nepotism. Recently, she even targeted Diljit Dosanjh and stated that he will be arrested soon. Till now, neither Karan Johar and SRK has reacted to the same.
