Filmmaker Karan Johar-owned Dharma Productions has entered the talent management space in partnership with Bunty Sajdeh's Cornerstone. Karan Johar himself broke out the news on his Twitter handle. he wrote, "We at @DharmaMovies have always thrived for the best, and DCA will also serve as a platform to nurture the best, and become an indomitable powerhouse of talent!"
"Super delighted to announce our newest venture, a talent management agency, Dharma Cornerstone Agency (DCA) @apoorvamehta18 @buntysajdeh," added Karan.
While the move seems a dream come true for Karan Johar, it might yet again irk new controversy. Dharma is the second Bollywood production house after Yash Raj Films to operate a talent management arm. Dharma Cornerstone Agency in partnership with Bunty Sajdeh whose talent management firm Cornerstone, founded in 2008, manages sportspersons including Virat Kohli, Vinesh Phogat, KL Rahul, Sania Mirza, Yuvraj Singh, among others.
However, the controversy starts when people hear the name of Bunty Sajdeh and Cornerstone. Karan Johar has already been in the limelight and controversy in the past after his name was linked in Sushant Singh Rajput's case.
Interestingly, Cornerstone is a talent management company where Sushant Singh Rajput had an account. It is the same talent management company where Disha Salian was also working. She handled Sushant Singh Rajput’s account for some time and contacted him in May.
The CBI has also interrogated Bunty Sajdeh in Sushant Singh Rajput's case a few times. The move may prove costly for Karan Johar since the case of Sushant Singh Rajput has not been solved yet.
