Deepika Padukone's manager Karishma Prakash who was not responding to the summons of the NCB in the drugs case that emerged in the Sushant Singh Rajput case has finally got some relief. Karishma Prakash had applied for anticipatory bail in the special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) court in Mumbai. She was summoned to appear before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 27 in the drugs probe related to the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. However, she didn’t turn up.
Now going by the reports of CNN News 18, Karishma Prakash anticipatory bail has been accepted. The Court has also put a stay on the arrest of the manager of Deepika Padukone till November 7. But before November 7th she will have to come to the NCB for her interrogation. Karishma's lawyer has informed the court that she will co-operate in the probe. The court has also told the NCB that no arrest should be made till November 7th.
Going by the media reports, the NCB recovered 1.7 gm of charas and two bottles of CBD oil in its raid at her house. The final verdict on Karishma's anticipatory is yet to be out in the public domain.
