A new Korean series has been released on Netflix, and this time, it is not a rom-com series, which will give you butterflies. The newly launched Korean series is an action thriller and was dropped on the OTT platform on Friday, April 4, 2025.

The series is adapted from Choi Hee-seon’s popular Kakao Webtoon of the same name. As many as six episodes of the Korean series will be released, which is anticipated to leave the audiences with a dark and suspense-filled narrative. The series is full of fascination, and the storyline revolves around the consequences of past decisions.

The film has been directed by Lee II-hyung.

Where to watch?

All six episodes of Karma have been released on the OTT platform Netflix. The series is all about the desperate choices made by a man who eventually deals with the heavy consequences.

The Plot and Cast of Karma -

One single misfortune sets numerous interconnected reactions into motion at the beginning of the series. The play features Lee Hee-jun (A Killer Paradox), who plays a Debtor because his bad business investments, coupled with rental defaults, force him into taking money from an unsafe loan shark.

When a debtor attempts any unsound criminal operation to settle his debts, the results cause an instant chain reaction that triggers violent effects. Tuho's choices in the wake of his tragic decisions lead to the destructive involvement of five other people. All characters in this story preserve mysteries as well as emotional burdens from their past. The Witness character in the film is played by Park Hae-soo, whom viewers know from Squid Game while witnessing a traumatic event in his past.

In Hometown, Cha-Cha-Cha Shin Min-a portrays Ju-yeon as she faces enormous emotional distress. Officer Black Belt Kim Sung-kyun portrays Gil-ryong while Lee Kwang-soo takes the role of Glasses with a strange and observant personality, and Gong Seung-yeon portrays Yoo-jeong in Bulgasal: Immortal Souls. The emotional and moral aspects of Karma reveal how individual decisions spread through a chain reaction to disturb numerous people.

Each episode brings new revelations from every character, showing their past connections to the rest of the cast while their personal accounts become increasingly difficult to interpret. Throughout the series, the viewer must consider how manipulation of fate by guilt bears on the existence of redemption in an environment based on untruth.

Under the direction of Lee Il-hyung, the series was written by the same person and produced jointly by Moonlight Film and Baram Pictures. Watchlists need to include this psychological thriller K-drama because it achieves compelling storytelling with suspenseful plots while maintaining high production values through its character development arcs.
