The reality TV star dropped a series of pictures with the humanoid robot with an 'alien' emoji. In the viral pictures, Kim Kardashian looked ravishing in black. However, the reality TV star sitting on the lap of Optimus sparked a major uproar. Many social media users commented on her photos outlining the controversy and even passing X-rated slurs.
A few moments after that Telsa Motors also dropped a comment which reads, "Optimus asked if you’re still on for dinner this Friday."
Kim Kardashian's controversial photoshoot also featured Tesla's Cybercab. In October 2024, Elon Musk unveiled Tesla's robotaxi, the Cybercab, at the Warner Bros Studios in Burbank, California. The futuristic-looking vehicle, featuring two wing-like doors - and no pedals or steering wheel.

What is Optimus?
For those who are unaware, Optimus is Tesla's humanoid Robot. It is a general-purpose robotic humanoid under development by Tesla, Inc. It was announced at the company's Artificial Intelligence (AI) Day event on August 19, 2021.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has claimed that every human will have one or more of Tesla’s Optimus robots in their home. Musk said Optimus robots could be used for anything from a teacher for children to a bodyguard for the house. Musk said the artificial general intelligence could be here as early as next year.
Recently, a video also went viral on social media in which Kim Kardashian was seen playing Rock, Paper or Scissors with Optimus. In fact, the reality TV star beat Tesla's humanoid in the game. Kim has been actively promoting Tesla's products.
