The Royal Swedish couple King Carl Gustaf Folke Hubertus and Queen Silvia Renate Sommerlath arrived in India today in the early hours of the morning for a five-day visit of the country.
The Royal couple, who will have meetings with President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was received by Member of Parliament Babul Supriyo at the New Delhi airport.
King Carl and Queen Silvia both travelled to India in the national air carrier Air India AI168 from Stockholm. Their pictures at the airport were tweeted by Air India's Twitter handle and went viral immediately.
