The controversies and trouble for the Actor-Director Sajid Khan don’t seem to settle anytime soon. A week after being criticized over his entry into the Bigg Boss house a separate storm has gripped the actor this time at a much bigger level.
Swati Maliwal Chief of the Delhi Commission for Women has written to Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur to order his removal from the TV reality show Bigg Boss’ ongoing season.
Maliwal has weighed over the sexual allegation against Sajid to consolidate her proposal to the Union Minister. Against the backdrop of the #MeToo movement, Sajid was accused by several women of sexual allegations and harassment in the name of luring them with future projects.

The first episode of Bigg Boss' 16th season aired on October 1. The show is hosted by actor Salman Khan.
Maliwal shared a copy of her complaint in a tweet that read, "Ten women had accused Sajid Khan of sexual harassment during the #MeToo movement. All these complaints show the disgusting mentality of Sajid. Now, this man has been given a place in Bigg Boss, which is wrong. I have written to @ianuragthakur to have Sajid Khan removed from this show.”
Denounced by the fraternity over the allegation, Sajid Khan was suspended for a year by the Indian Film and Television Directors' Association (IFTDA) in 2018 after multiple women accused him of sexual harassment. The same year he stepped down from the directorial post of ‘Housefull 4’ replaced by Farhad Samji.
