Know why Diljit Dosanjh said that he won’t perform in India?

Punjabi singer Diljit Singh Dosanjh performed at a live show at Chandigarh's Sector 34 Exhibition Ground, a total of 30,000 people attended the show.

Punjabi singer Diljit Singh Dosanjh did a live show in the presence of about 30,000 people at Chandigarh's Sector 34 Exhibition Ground. He then dedicated his show to Gukesh, who became the World Chess Champion. Diljit  thanked the administration as well.

He said that till morning it was not certain if the show would happen or not. He thanked the police and the administration for their support. He said that all the attendees of might not see him because of the infrastructure. He expressed his and said that many people who are far from the stage are not able to see him and enjoy the concert.

He talked about the venue’s poor infrastructure and said that there is no perfect venue for the concert. The administration should think that the infrastructure for a live show is not present here. 

He then said that when he comes next time, his stage should be in the middle and all the audience around it. Next time he will perform from the center stage. He also appealed to the Chandigarh administration to take necessary steps for this. He then said that until this happens, he won’t do shows in India.

Diljit then talked about the Allu Arjun’s movie Puspa. He said that he has watched the film, Pushpa. He has not watched the second part but has watched the first part of the movie. He then talked about the famous dialogue in the movie and said that the character in the movie says he will not bow down. Well, I have been watching this for 22-23 years and you have to first see that who is standing in front of you.

Diljit sang his songs Panj Tara Theke Utte and Patiala Peg. While singing, he changed the lyrics of the song. Like Patiala Peg was changed to Patiala Tera.

Diljit said that Coachella is the biggest stage in Africa but there also I said 'Punjabis have come'. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to say the same thing in my house. This does not make me sad. It does happen to be. 

Following this, he said that today’s show is dedicated to our all-new world chess champion Gukesh. He had already decided that he would become a world champion.
