The greatest spinner of all the
time, Shane Warne passed away at the age of 52. The news of his death was
confirmed by his management. In the statement, it is stated that “Shane was
found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff,
he could not be revived. The family requests privacy at this time and will
provide further details in due course.”
It is a
huge loss for Australian Cricket as they lost two of their former players in the last
24 hours. First was Rod Marsh, who died of suffering a major heart attack.

In his career span of around 15 years, Shane took 708 test
wickets most by an Australian. He also played for Rajasthan Royals in IPL and
led the team for the title in 2008. He played more than 300 matches for
Australia in all formats. He took 293 One-Day International wickets in his
career.
