According to the vegetable vendors in the market of Delhi, the prices of lemons have increased significantly in the last few days. At present, the price of lemon is Rs 300 to 400 per kg.

In the midst of rising temperatures in summer, the demand for lemon has also increased significantly. 

Due to which lemon has crossed Rs 300 per kg in some places. The situation is that in many places only one lemon is available for 10 rupees. 

According to the vegetable vendors in the market of Delhi, the prices of lemons have increased significantly in the last few days.
In Noida, lemon is being sold at different prices, ranging from Rs 300 to Rs 350 per kg. 

Some shopkeepers say that the prices of lemons have increased significantly in the mandis itself, the lemon which was being sold at Rs 200 per kg last week has now crossed Rs 250 per kg.

In Delhi's INA market, the price of lemon is Rs 350 per kg, while in Noida market, two hundred and fifty grams worth Rs 80 are being sold. 

In Ghazipur's vegetable market, shopkeepers are being given Rs 230 per kg, after which the customers are getting Rs 280 per kg in the market. 

However, two types of lemons are also being sold in the market, first green lemon which is priced at Rs 280 and second yellow lemon which is selling at Rs 360 per kg.

Kishor, a vegetable seller in the NCR region, said, "Today I have bought 5 kg lemons worth Rs 1250, after that now this lemon will be sold expensive in the market, because we will also have to cover the cost of our car, petrol. 


There is a huge increase in these prices in the last one week and according to the shopkeepers in other mandis, the prices of lemons will increase in the same way for the next few days.

Because of this, the price of lemon has increased


According to the information, lemon prices often increase in summer, but due to unseasonal rains, it becomes expensive. At the same time, due to the change in the weather, the prices of lemon have also increased. 

With the increase in the production of lemon in summer, the demand also increases. According to traders, there is usually a jump in the prices of vegetables during the summer season. 

But this time there are many other reasons for the increase in the prices of lemons.

The biggest reason for this is believed to be the rising prices of diesel-petrol. Due to increase in transportation cost and decrease in arrivals in the mandis, the prices of lemons are increasing.
