In Punjab's Batala area, looting crimes do not appear to be stopping. Raman, a 20-year-old living in Batala's Dharmapura Colony, was the victim of the most recent life- threatening incident at Khajuri Gate. He works as a delivery guy for a bakery and as usual went to get bread. When he got close to Khajuri Gate, two young people on bikes stopped him and got into a brawl with him. They forced him to go around the city on the back of his motorcycle.
Raman said that the accused also removed money from his pocket. By leaping off the bike, the delivery lad managed to save his life. Both bikers took off after that. A CCTV camera that was installed at a store was able to record this conflict. The cops are currently looking into the matter using CCTV footage. The recording of the victim youth's statement has served as the first step in further action. Soon, the accused will be taken into custody.
Raman, the victim, stated that he was unfamiliar with both of the young people when asked about details. He while giving a statement said that following their altercation, they both displayed weapons and violently carried him on their bikes throughout the city roaming.
