The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 starts with Mickey Haller in dilemma whether or not to take Julian La Cosse's case who has been jailed for murdering Glory Days. Glory Days used to work through an app developed by Julian La Cosse and during one of her meetings with a man under the fake name of Daniel Price, she was murdered at her apartment. Julian La Cosse informs Mickey that he and Gloria had an altercation and he indeed grabbed her by the neck but he did not kill her. It was Gloria who had suggested that he should contact Mickey if he faced any legal trouble. Finally, Mickey decides to take Julian La Cosse's case and then many things unravel including a connection with Mexico's drug cartel.
Did Julian La Cosse kill Glory Days aka Gloria Dayton?
The answer is no. (Spoilers Ahead) Julian La Cosse was freed from all charges after former Detective Bishop confessed that he followed a DEA Agent named De Marco's order and followed her everywhere and gave him her address. Bishop revealed that Gloria was an informant of DEA agent De Marco. De Marco had framed a cartel member named Hector Moya with the help of Gloria for which he was serving a life sentence. When Gloria was served subpoena, De Marco feared that she would open her mouth that he framed Moya on bogus charges. Bishop further confirmed that it was De Marco who last went inside Glory Days' apartment when Julian La Cosse left from there after a small altercation.
In the end, it was found out that De Marco was getting paid by a rival cartel in Mexico and hence, he took Gloria's help to frame Hector Moya. Agent Bishop on the other hand was paid 10 years ago to not solve a double homicide that was carried out by a Mexican drug cartel. It was De Marco who offered Bishop the drug money.
