Different species adopt different approaches to attract the opposite sex, so as the lion. The denser and bigger a lion's mane is the more majestic it looks not only to us but also to the lioness. Male lions grow this on attending sexual maturity & interestingly, neutered males usually lose their manes entirely. Gods amazing way."
