Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora on Sunday announced the Lok Sabha schedule. During a press conference said that the Lok Sabha elections will be held in seven phases which will start from 11 April and will continue till May 19. The results will be declared on May 23. Assembly polls will also be held simultaneously in Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Odisha, making this one of the biggest electoral exercises to be held across the country in decades.
