On the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, the Punjab government declared a holiday in schools and colleges on August 26, 2024, i.e. on Monday. It means schools, colleges, and even banks will remain closed from August 25, 2024, to August 26, 2024. Interestingly, many schools, colleges, and offices are closed on Saturday as well. Due to this, people will now be able to enjoy a long weekend with Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off.
