As per the information received, Bajwa's lawyers reached Mohali and met the police officials. They also said that he cannot appear today. In such a situation, he should be given one day's time. The officials agreed to this. The lawyers say that they have not yet filed a bail petition in the court as of now.

What did CM Bhagwant Singh Mann say about Bajwa's remarks?

In his address, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann demanded that Bajwa should disclose his source. CM Mann questioned, "Who are Bajwa’s connections in Pakistan that terrorists are directly informing him about bomb deliveries? This information isn’t with intelligence agencies or the central government—so how did he receive it?"

Furthermore, the Punjab Chief Minister alleged that Bajwa might be deliberately spreading fear or waiting for a tragedy to gain political mileage, warning of strict action if he fails to reveal the source.

Despite the FIR and political uproar, Bajwa refused to reveal his source saying, “... I won’t reveal my source. I come from a family that has suffered due to terrorism. If I have credible information about threats, I must stay alert."
