Now, the question arises what is the reason behind LA Fire or Los Angeles Fire Reason? Furthermore, what created the massive wildfire in Hollywood? Below is everything you need to know-
LA Wildfire Reason
Los Angeles Fire or California fire started on Tuesday, but it became uncontrollable due to winds blowing at a speed of 112 km/h. This made it difficult for firefighters to control the fire. Due to the winds, it became difficult to extinguish the fire from airplanes. The situation was so intense that airplanes had to be used to extinguish the fire. Water and fire extinguishing chemicals were also dropped from the planes.
As per USA Today, fire officials are investigating the causes of multiple wildfires that are destroying homes and forcing thousands to evacuate across parts of Southern California on Wednesday. The Palisades Fire started burning around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. It burnt thousands of acres of land around the beach towns of Santa Monica and Malibu. The cause of all blazes are still under investigation, according to the California Fire Department. But the powerful Santa Ana winds are likely driving their rapid growth.
California Fire Department Spokesperson was quoted saying, "The combination of low humidity, dry fuels and shifting winds has heightened the potential for spot fires and rapid expansion."
What are the common reasons for wildfires?
Notably, wildfires can be caused by both natural as well as artificial factors. Talking about natural factors, lightning is the most common cause of wildfires. In higher elevations, lightning sometimes strikes dry vegetation, which sparks a fire that can easily become uncontrollable, particularly when fueled by dry winds.
The report also mentioned the artcifial factor quoting an expert. The expert stated that in cities with roads near wildlife, such as in Southern California, it is very common for vehicles to unknowingly ignite a fire.
Sometimes, strong winds can hit power lines, causing them to move which can also ignite wildfires. Even camp fires, if not extinguished properly, can lead to a huge wildfire.
Hollywood celebs who lost their homes in LA Fires
As per reports, multiple Hollywood celebrities have also lost their house due to the Los Angeles Wild Fire. It includes Billy Crystal, Paris Hilton,, and Eugene Levy. The home of the Schitt’s Creek actor Levy, who is the honorary mayor of the Pacific Palisades, was also burnt to ashes on Wednesday.
