Since you have landed on this page, True Scoop assumes that you are digging deep to know about Lucca's World Real Story or Lucca World True Story and Dr. Jaramillo who is accused of stealing Dr. Kumar's idea of Cytotron. Below is what we know about Dr. Jaramillo of Lucca World so far-
Who is Dr. Jaramillo, shown in Lucca's World?
The character of Dr. Jaramillo in Lucca's World is played by actor Ari Brickman. As shown in the movie on Netflix, a person named Anderson informs Barbara that Bruno Bernardi, the former Economic secretary suffered a serious cardiovascular problem that left him unable to speak or walk. However, he underwent treatment with a Medical Doctor who works in India and he’s recovered now. The name of the Doctor who treated Bruno is none other than Dr. Kumar. However, he got the reference from a local Mexican doctor named Dr. Jaramillo who is working under Dr. Kumar.
As a result, Barbara tries to connect with Dr. Jaramillo. However, Dr. Jaramillo at first refused to treat Lucca aka Luquita Bianciotto Anderson using cytotron as he is a child. But, due to Barbara's repeated requests, Dr. Jaramillo informs that Dr. Kumar has agreed to treat Lucca and hence he is sending the fee they need to pay to him in India.
Talking about real-life Dr. Jaramillo, Barbara mentions in her book that a certain man named “J” (real-name withheld for legal concerns) tried to stop her from going to India and told her about the restrictions on the use of the Cytotron in the West.
In the end, it was found that “J” always withheld information because he didn’t want to share profit or credit with anyone. After getting to know that due to her effort, cytotron will now not be able to come to Mexico or in the US, Barbara called John to query about it. Below is an excerpt of the conversation that you should know for better understanding-
"I am calling because I want to know more about those two cytotrons in Veracruz, " says Barbara.
In response, John says, "Well, to be honest, I am not in really good terms with Jaramillo right now. First of all his p;plans for the clinics in Baltimore..all lies. Yeah, he just paid for an email account with the John Hopkins domain. Nobody knows him there. I dont know how I trusted this guy. I paid for all his flights to India. Business class mind you I even paid for the freaking ritz," said John.
Barbara replies, "We paid for that too. Maybe even the same trip."
"Kumar knows about this?" asks Barbara.
John replies, "I don't know, Maybe. All I know is that Jaramillo bought several machines from him."
Later, it was bought that Jaramillo registered the machine made by Dr. Kumar under his name and even the patients who underwent treatment were done under his name.
