Lucifer got a new home on Netflix after being cancelled by FOX following the third season finale. Since then, rather than the weekly pattern that audiences were used to, the show has been presented in batches. Season 5 was supposed to be the series' final season, but a new contract was made, and Lucifer was renewed for a sixth and final season.

Fans were overjoyed when the two eventually got together in the most recent season, but dating the devil has its downsides. Lucifer and Chloe have emerged stronger on the other side, and their scenes in Season 5 highlight their everlasting love.

1. Lucifer And Chloe Hold Hands

It's the little things that count, and this minor change in Chloe and Lucifer's relationship was a positive start in the right direction. They repressed their feelings for each other for a long time, and there was always a reason why they couldn't be together.

For a brief moment, there was nothing stopping Chloe and Lucifer from doing things they had never been able to do before. They needed to cherish the rare times because of all the threats they encounter on a regular basis. To the casual onlooker, walking to the crime scene hand in hand appears to be a simple gesture, yet it was momentous.

2. Chloe Stand Up To Lucifer's Father

Standing up to the creator of the universe demands a strong-willed person, and Chloe didn't hesitate for a second. She marched over to God and expressed her displeasure with the way he treated Lucifer, and she didn't say it sweetly.

Chloe kept repeating the term "respectfully," but her tone was hardly respectful. Given that God is in command of her fate, Chloe's outburst was proof of her love for Lucifer and desire for him to be treated with the respect he deserves.

3. Lucifer And Chloe Call Things Official

Viewers had been waiting for Lucifer and Chloe to finally put a name to their romance for a long time. Things were always in turmoil, due to events beyond their control, yet Chloe asked directly if they were together or not.

They spent the entire episode after Lucifer said yes, fulfilling every Deckerstar shipper's dream. It was good that Lucifer and Chloe finally got a chance to act like a normal relationship in that episode, since they kissed more times than they did in the first four seasons.

4. Lucifer Finds Chloe

When Chloe was kidnapped, no one expected her to need rescuing. She sat in her cell, waiting for Michael to return, and then slammed the door in his face. However, it was Lucifer, not Michael, who came for her, and Chloe realises she made a mistake after seeing Dan and Maze.

She apologises right away and kisses Lucifer before hugging him. "You may whack me anytime," Lucifer replies to Chloe, his voice sounding happy to have her back.

5. Lucifer Tells God He Wants To Be Worthy Of Chloe

Chloe is, at the end of the day, the sole motivation for all of Lucifer's acts. He prioritises her safety above everything else, and he will go to every extent to protect her. Lucifer yells at his father and blames everything on him, frustrated that he'll never be able to give Chloe the love she deserves.

She willingly puts her life on the line for complete strangers and would gladly do it indefinitely.

Lucifer, on the other hand, has become more important to her than her career, and she felt it was time to devote her time to assisting him after meeting with her mother. For years, Lucifer was Chloe's partner because he wanted to spend time with her. Chloe informs Lucifer that it is now her turn to be there for him, and she gives Lucifer her two-week notice to assist him in achieving his goal.

7. Lucifer And Chloe's First Time

The first time Chloe and Lucifer met was eagerly anticipated by both fans and the two of them. They'd exchanged a few kisses before, but something always stood in their way of going any further. Chloe's death was certainly not a happy event, but it was an important one. It's the kind of scene that strikes viewers, yet they can't stop watching it.  Both actors gave it their all, and Lucifer's anguished tears when Chloe died were heartbreaking.

Lucifer was still banished from the golden gates, and his immortality ring was the only thing keeping him alive. Before putting the ring on her finger and vanishing in before of her eyes, Lucifer assures Chloe that he loves her. Chloe wakes up in a blind anger, accusing Michael of stealing Lucifer from her.
