Ludhiana ACP Anil Kohli who was set to go under plasma therapy died due to coronavirus on Saturday. Kohli was tested positive and was on ventilators from the past few days in SPS Hospital Ludhiana.
He was to undergo plasma therapy treatment on Saturday, however, it has not been clarified that whether plasma therapy treatment was done or not. With his death Anil became the first police official of Punjab who died due to COVID-19.

On Friday the family of the Punjab Police ACP had given the permission for the therapy, for which the DHS Punjab was coordinating potential plasma donors.
