Encounter breakout in Ludhiana Central jail causes 4 cops and 6 prisoners to severe injuries. Four prisoners at the central jail of Ludhiana tried to escape the jail on Thursday which forced the cops to fire.
This major clash took place in the afternoon. Reportedly the 4 four prisoners who tried to breakout were caught and brought back to jail.
This clash did not just end with a breakout and encounter but also lead to a fire inside the jail.
The fire started during the clash. In soon time the fire brigade helped to get things under control.
In the course of the fight, six prisoners and four police officers were injured.
The final head count of the total prisoners will be done in the evening and no prisoner was successful in escaping the jail and the police are credited for their immediate response.
This questions the security systems of the jail and will further impose more stringent rules in the prison, for now, no prisoner is escaped and things are under control.
