Ludhiana DSP Dilpreet Singh Shergill recently fell victim to a fatal heart attack while he was exercising in the gym. But recently, the deceased’s family has come forward with new information that puts the real cause of the DSP’s death in the spotlight. They allege that the deceased’s wife was a source of constant stress for the DSP. Furthermore, they allege that his wife had been mixing some suspicious substances into the deceased’s food, which caused his health to slowly deteriorate.
According to reports, a complaint regarding this was made to Commissioner about a year ago. The family will reportedly hold a press conference at Dilpreet’s old house in Model Town in this regard.
Dilpreet Singh was exercising in the gym last Thursday at the Park Plaza Hotel near Bhaibala Chowk on Ferozpur road when suddenly he collapsed in the middle of his workout. The youth exercising alongside tried to resuscitate the collapsed DSP by throwing water on his face but to no avail. He was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead by the doctors. The postmortem of the DSP’s body revealed that he had died due to a heart rupture as 90% of his heart arteries and veins were blocked.
His death was a shock as the DSP was an avid fitness enthusiast and took great care of his health. He was also fond of boxing and regularly used to practice in the gym. He had been a ACP in Ludhiana and was currently posted in Malerkotla.
