1. World-Class Roads & Urban Infrastructure
- Ludhiana is among the four cities set to get world-class roads in 50 km in the course of the coming year.
- ₹225 crore from the Punjab Municipal Development Fund will fund improvements to roads along with cleanliness, water supply, sewage, and streetlights across 166 of Punjab's cities and towns.
- ₹300 crore for the Punjab Municipal Services Improvement Project (PMSIP) to enhance Ludhiana urban governance, finance, and delivery of water services.
2. Sustainable & Modern Transportation
- 367 e-buses would be purchased during FY 2025-26 to facilitate greener and people-friendly public transportation in Punjab and Ludhiana.
- Construction of a civil bus depot infrastructure in Ludhiana to facilitate the expanding urban transport network.
3. MSMEs & Industrial Growth Boost
- ₹120 crore under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme will assist small businesses with market access, financial support, and technology upgrades.
- A technology extension center shall be set up in major industrial centers to aid innovation and modernization.
- ₹10 crore for upgrading the R&S Centre and the Institute of Auto Parts & Hand Tools Technology (IAHT) in Ludhiana, further solidifying the city's top position in manufacturing and engineering.
