Ladowal toll plaza in Ludhiana, Punjab reportedly saw a price hike from June 2 midnight as per National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). Passengers traveling from Delhi to Jalandhar will now have to pay 5 percent more than the previous rates. Giving information, the Ladowal Toll Plaza official said that the new rate has been increased marginally and toll will be deducted as per the new rate list from 12 midnight on June 2, 2024.
According to the information, the old rates for a car/jeep was Rs 215 for a one-way trip and Rs 325 for round trip with the monthly pass costing Rs 7,175. In the new rate, the one-way fare is Rs 220 and round trip Rs 330 and the monthly pass will be Rs 7360. Similarly, the old fare for light vehicle was Rs 350 for one way and Rs 520 for round trip and the monthly pass was Rs 11590. In the new rate, the one-way fare is Rs 355 and round trip Rs 535 and the monthly pass will be Rs 11885.

Rates of large/heavy commercial vehicles:
Previous rate of a 2-axle bus or truck was Rs 730 for a one-way trip and Rs 1095 for the return journey, with the monthly pass priced at Rs 24,285. The new rate will be Rs 745 for one way, Rs 1,120 for reverse and monthly pass will be Rs 24,905. The old rate for three axle vehicles was Rs 795 for one side and Rs 1,190 for the two-way return trip and the monthly pass was Rs 26,490. The new rate will be Rs 815 for one-way, Rs 1,225 for the return journey and the monthly pass will be Rs 27170.
The old rate of heavy construction machinery four axle vehicles was Rs 1140 for one side and Rs 1715 for the two-way trip and the monthly pass was Rs 38085. The new rate will be Rs 1170 for one way, Rs 1755 for the return journey and the monthly pass will be Rs 39055.
For seven and more axles, the old rates were Rs 1,390 for one way, Rs 2,085 for the return journey. The new rates from midnight will be Rs 1,425 for one way, Rs 2,140 for return and monthly pass will be Rs 47,545. Along with this, the pass rate for those living within a radius of 20 kilometers of the toll plaza has also been increased from Rs 330 to Rs 340 from June 2.
New rates will be applicable from 12 midnight.
