In a shocking incident of animal brutality, a video of an enraged person brutally attacking a dog has surfaced from Ludhiana, Punjab. He first hit the street dog with sticks and later stabbed it in the chest with a sharp spear. The people of the area also tried to save the dog, but the person in question did not listen to anyone.

 

Mani, head of Help for Animals which is an animal welfare NGO, said that he had received information that a person had badly injured a dog in Dashmesh Colony in Pratapura area. A person named Harbhajan Singh lives in the area, who attack the dog with a spear. 

 

According to reports, the person kept the spear embedded in the dog's chest for nearly 5 minutes. The man was enraged as the dog had reportedly torn the cover of his car. The man chased him in the streets and hit him with sticks and spears.

 

Seeing the relentless atrocities on the dog, the area residents informed Mani and Ankit, head of the Help for Animals organization. The NGO members who reached the spot saw the serious condition of the dog and got it admitted to the veterinary hospital. The dog's lungs have been damaged by the attack.

 

According to Mani, he has given a complaint in PAU police station, but the police is trying to suppress the matter. No action is being taken against the accused. He reportedly stood outside the police station for about 4 hours to get justice for the dog but no senior officer even picked up his phone.
