In a major push to make the city secure and hassle-free, Ludhiana Police and Civil Administration has launched Mission Beggar Free with immediate effect.

Reportedly, police has started an intense verification drive for beggars.

Rakesh Agrawal CP Ludhiana has given instructions to SHOs to complete the verification of beggars in the next 15 days. CP has strictly told them that after 11th November 2020 no beggar should be seen on the city chowks or roads particularly beggars with children.

Police has also request city residents not to give money or food to beggars on the roads. Every small effort will count towards this cause.
