Ludhiana: In a significant breakthrough, the Ludhiana police on Tuesday announced the arrest of four individuals linked to a high-profile multi-crore robbery.
A whopping Rs 3.51 crore in cash, along with gold ornaments, was recovered from the accused.
Sources revealed that the criminals targeted the residence of a prominent doctor situated on Pakhowal road, making away with cash and valuables worth crores just five days ago.
The breakthrough in the case came from meticulous analysis of the CCTV footage, leading to the identification and subsequent arrest of the suspects.
Punjab’s DGP, Gaurav Yadav, lauded the efficiency and professionalism of the Ludhiana police.
Taking to Twitter, he expressed his admiration, noting that the case was resolved with a “professional and scientific approach” in a record time of just five days.
