Actress Payal Ghosh who has recently grabbed the headlines after filing a case of sexual harassment on Anurag Kashyap has now sought help from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National Commission for Women (NCW) chief Rekha Sharma.
In a tweet to PM Modi, the actress has pleaded for the security. She has claimed that Bollywood’s “mafia gang” will kill her.
She went on to state, “These mafia gang will kill me, sir, @PMOIndia @narendramodi sir @sharmarekha ma’am and will prove my death as suicide or something else”
Notably, the actress has recently been slapped with a defamation suit by Richa Chadha, has reacted to her tweet from October 8, and claimed, “the whole gang is trying to suppress and humiliate me.”
Richa filed a defamation suit against Ghosh over "defamatory statements'' made against her in an interview to a news channel.
However, Richa, on Thursday, tweeted to Rekha Sharma, the current Chairperson of the National Commission for Women and said, “Saw these pictures @sharmarekha ma’am. I still haven’t heard back from @NCWIndia reg my complaint (dated 22/9/20) filed against Ms.Ghosh, for falsely dragging my name in her case against a director. Basis your own tweets on the matter, I believe my complaint was filed BEFORE hers.”
Reacting to the tweet, Payal didn’t just tag Sharma, but also tagged the PM in her post that read, “Ms Chaddha how do you know I have falsely dragged your name unless the truth comes out, how are you so sure of Mr Kashyap (I’m wondering)?? Please @sharmarekha look into this, how the whole gang is trying to suppress and humiliate me. @PMOIndia @narendramodi Sir #BetiBachao.”
