Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's Dussehra rally has started to backfire him after he gave a clean chit to his son Aaditya Thackeray and announced that the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide.
Addressing the party's annual Dassehra Rally online with only 50 people present in an auditorium near Shivaji Park, Thackeray said, "Someone who committed suicide is now a Bihar son. He may be, but because of him, you maligned sons of Maharashtra. You even maligned my son Aaditya. So whatever you said, keep it yourself. We are clean."
Now former Maharashtra Chief Minister Narayan Rane has slammed Uddhav Thackeray and accused him to conduct a rally just to give clean chit to his son Aaditya. Rane slammed Uddhav for saying that Sushant died by suicide as the CBI has not filed its final report.
Addressing the media, Narayan Rane said that the investigation into the mysterious death case of Sushant Singh and Disha Salian is still going on, but Uddhav Thackeray is engaged in giving a clean chit to his son by abusing his power. Rane also said that Uddhav Thackeray is a 'foolish' Chief Minister of progressive Maharashtra. He does not deserve to be the Chief Minister.
Neither the farmers were mentioned in the Dussehra rally nor did they talk about the economic condition of the state. Maharashtra is most affected by the Corona pandemic. But he did not say a word on the coronavirus. Is it not the responsibility of the Chief Minister?
Talking to Republic, Rane said, "Sushant and Disha Salian did not die by suicide they both were murdered. Sushant had a fight at the party and was then killed. There was no evidence of suicide there. The evidence has reached the CBI and the investigative agency will soon probe this matter as a murder case."
