Who is Golden Baba?
Golden Baba's real name is Swami Narayan Nand Giri. He is associated with Niranjani Akhara. Currently, he lives in Delhi but originally Golden Baba is from Kerala and he has taken initiation to become a Baba from the President of Niranjani Akhara, Ravindra Puri Maharaj.
In the viral video, Golden Baba was seen laden with gold ornaments, a gold watch, a bracelet, rings, and many necklaces around his neck. There were lockets of many gods and goddesses in his gold stick.
67-year-old Golden Baba claims that whatever gold ornaments he is wearing are not for show-off but are dedicated to his spiritual life and his guru. In one of his interviews, Golden Baba said that all these ornaments and lockets are a symbol of his sadhana.
He further added that it doesn't matter what anyone says to me, whatever gold I wear is connected to Sadhna and every ornament has spiritual power. Golden Baba also has a mobile whose cover is made of gold. Not only this, the frame of the glasses he wears is also made of gold.
Golden Baba was quoted by a newswire saying, "My name is Shri Shri 1008 Anant Shri Vibhushit Swami Narayan Nand Giriji Maharaj. I am from Kerala, and I am the Chairman of Sanatana Dharma Foundation... It has rukdraksha, coral, crystals and moonga. All are dedicated to the gods Natraj, Narishma, Murugan, Bhadrakali... I need different stones like ruby, sapphire, and emerald during puja. It has Shri Yantra also..."
