Going by her monologue, it can be understood that this time, the political drama is all set to turn nastier as Rani Bharti's rivals will now target her family. Ever since the teaser was released, fans have also been digging deep into the Maharani Season 4 Release Date or Maharani Season 4 OTT Release Date. Below is all you need to know about Maharani 4-
What happened in Maharani Season 3?
Maharani Season 3 showcased the so-called liquor prohibition in Bihar. Maharani Season 3 showcases how the Bihar Government is working with the liquor mafias to sell illegal alcohol in the state. Keeping the liquor controversy aside, the series showcases a particular story about Navin Kumar and Musafir Baitha.
Navin Kumar made his close MLA Musafir Baitha the Chief Minister of Bihar after he resigned. Navin did it so that the Bihar SIT Team could file their investigation report on the shootout between Kunwar Singh & Dilshad Mirza. It means Navin made Baitha the CM of Bihar so that he could control the government, and at the same time, Baitha resigned from his post after SIT submitted its report. However, Musafir Baitha started to make his own decisions as CM. It irked Navin Kumar, and he angrily asked Baitha to resign from the CM post, which he denied. Baitha accepts the support of the Rani Bharti party in order to remain the CM of Bihar. Interestingly, the plot somewhat resembles the saga of Nitish Kumar and Jitan Ram Manjhi.
The Nitish Kumar-Jitan Ram Manjhi saga goes back to 2015. Nitish Kumar had appointed Manjhi as his replacement after being routed by the BJP in the LS polls because he wished to occupy the high moral ground. The anointment of Manjhi, a Mahadalit, was also intended to be a message for most depressed among Dalits. The experiment, however, went horribly wrong with Jitan Ram Manjhi unfurling the standard of political revolt and accusing Kumar of using Mahadallits as a political pawn.
Thereafter, in 2015, Jitan Ram Manjhi resigned as Chief Minister of Bihar hours before a trust vote that he seemed certain to lose, despite the support of the BJP.
