Maharashtra Board has started the registration for Maharashtra First Year Junior College Common Entrance Test (FYJC CET) 2021. The forms for the admission of the students in Class 11th are now available on the official website of Maharashtra Board – cet-mh-ssc.ac.in. The registration has started from 11:30 am on Wednesday.
Students who have passed Class 10th are eligible to apply for the entrance test. Link would be activated from July 20, 2021, to July 26, 2021, and the examination would be conducted on August 21, 2021.

Maharashtra Education Minister, Varsha Gaikwad tweeted about this announcement. She wrote, “Important Updates: CET (optional) for admissions to FYJC will be held on August 21. The entrance test is to ensure uniformity & comparability in FYJC admissions & to ensure fair play for students across all boards.” She has further shared the details of the exams.

Maharashtra FYJC CET 2021: Exam Pattern
Marks: The question paper would be of 100 marks based on the syllabus of Class 10th of the state board, questions would not be asked by the topics which are omitted from the curriculum 2020-2021.
The questions would be from four subjects – Mathematics, Social Science, Science and English. The test would be conducted in eight mediums and the medium selected by the student must be mentioned in the Application form.
Mode: The exam would be conducted offline in MCQ format.
Maharashtra FYJC CET 2021: How to apply
Following are the steps to apply for the registration:
Step 1: Go to the official website of Maharashtra FYJC CET 2021 official website – cet-mh-ssc.ac.in.
Step 2: Now select the “Board Type” link.
Step 3: Fill in all the required credentials.

Step 4: Select examination centre like district and other.
Step 5: Upload a scanned copy of your photograph, signature and other documents.
Step 6: Click the “Submit” button.
Step 7: Take out the printout of the form for future references.
The result of FYJC CET 2021 would be announced by the Maharashtra government after the announcement of the Maharashtra Class 10 SSC result 2021.
