Waghode used a sharp object to strike Nandeshwar on his head and killed him on the spot. The police said that after dumping the victim’s dead body in an open plot, Waghode came back, cleaned the room and slept.
The incident came to light after a few locals spotted the body lying on the ground near the rented room and alerted the police. Accused Waghode has been booked on charges of murder under the Indian Penal Code.
