However, Saqib had reportedly turned into an obsessive lover and he did not want tp part ways with her and therefore he blackmailed Ansreen Bukhari that he will send their sex tapes to her husband. Now, the question arises how Mahek Bukhari came to the picture? Below is everything you need to know-
Mahek Bukhari murder case explained
Mahek Bukhari has been sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering his mother's boyfriend Saqib Hussain and his innocent friend Hashim Ijazuddin. Notably, Saqib and Hashim Ijazuddin were murdered in a 100mph fireball crash after their Skoda was rammed off the road in a high-speed chase in Leicestershire. Notably, Mahek Bukhari had reportedly orchestrated the murder of Saqib Hussain. However, since Hashim Ijazuddin was also present with Saqib during the accident, he was also killed.
As per UK media reports, Mahek and her other Ansreen were found guilty of murder at Leicester Crown Court on August 4 after 28 hours of jury deliberation. Finally, Mahek Bukhari, Ansreen Bukhari, Rekan Karwan and Raees Jamal were locked up for life. To be precise, Mahek was sentenced to a minimum of 31 years, 8 months while Jamal was jailed for 36 years. On the other hand, Ansreen Bukhari was jailed for a minimum of 26 years and nine months.
Judge Tim Spencer KC made a massive observation about the disgraced influencer Mehak. Judge Tim Spencer KC stated, "Your tawdry fame through your career as an influencer has made you utterly self-obsessed with a wholly unjustified sense of entitlement and no apparent awareness of the impact you have on others, oblivious to the damage you do...That your solution to your mother's problems was to engage some of your male followers to beat up Saqib Hussain speaks volumes of your warped values and maybe also of the false word of influencing that you so enthusiastically espoused...The moments leading up to death would have been agonising and terrifying for Saqib and Hashim."
It is pertinent to mention here that Mehak had lured Saqib to pay back his £3,000 which he had spent on her mother during dating and he was on his way to take the money he was murdered in an accident. Notably, after Saqib started to blackmail Ansreen Bukhari, she told this to her influencer daughter. It was revealed that Mahek sent her mum a message that read: "I'll get him jumped by guys and he won't know what day it is."
Not only this, Mehak also messaged him saying: "I am sorry that this year you'll be gone, Saqib." UK media reports point out that it was then that she and her mother plotted to "silence" Saqib by luring him in and offering to pay him back the money for date nights.
