The anti-drug Special Task Force (STF) of Punjab Police has achieved great success during an operation. The STF arrested two police constables with 5 grams of heroin and recovered Rs 19,000 cash from them. The duo allegedly extorted money from a man who had drugs.
Police said that one of the arrested constables is a gunman of the Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh. The arrested persons have been identified as Constable Guriqbal Singh and Senior Constable Dalveer Singh posted at Mataur Police Station. The cartel also includes two unknown individuals.

STF Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar said that a case has been registered against the accused under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act, IPC and Prevention of Corruption Act.
