Addressing a rally in Howrah today, the West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee slammed PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, she termed duo Modi-Shah as 'syndicate no-1 & 2', while listing out the recent raids at the residences of opposition leaders.
Mamata Banerjee said the PM Modi-led-BJP government is misusing its powers and the central agencies to target the non-BJP states in the country. She said the recent raids at the premises of Trinamool leaders - Abhishek Banerjee, Kunal Ghosh, Sudip Banerjee and at DMK chief MK Stalin’s son-in-law’s house, shows how sacred is BJP from its opposition.
Lashing out at the Centre, she alleged that the “BJP can go to any extent to win the elections, but we are not afraid of BJP’s cheap tactics, we will fight the elections in a free and fair manner”.
She further said that BJP simple makes tall claims and when it comes to fulfill those so-called claims; it comes up with another big Jumla. 'We will financially support our farmers'. Where is that support, why are farmers protesting since last four months, where is the support?
“Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, are simply spreading hate in the country and dividing it through their cheap politics”, Bengal Chief alleged, adding that they are continuously changing police officers as they are scared of losing election in the poll-bound states.
Also, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today had a narrow escape today when an angry bull entered into the midst of a roadshow in Howrah.
The huge rally full of Trinamool supporters, local leaders and candidates was about 200 metres away from the finishing point when an angry bull entered inside the rally posing a threat to the Chief Minister.
