Mamata Banerjee is all
prepared to sworn in as the Chief Minister of West Bengal for the third
consecutive time on May 5. In the latest development, TMC has released the
guest names invited to the ceremony.
The guest list features quite interesting yet surprising names as the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has not refrained themselves to invite several opposition party leaders. The most catchy name in the list is Saurav Ganguly, former Indian Cricket Team captain and BCCI chief.
The politicians who would join Mamata’s oath-taking ceremony include names of Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Choudhary, former CM Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee among others.
It may be noted here that on May 2, Mamata Banerjee led TMC made a landslide victory in the Assembly Elections 2021 by winning 213 seats. Mamata Banerjee will take oath as CM at 10:45 am on Wednesday at Raj Bhavan. Amidst the Covid crisis, the function would observe limited guests and will take place in compliance with the Covid-19 protocol.
