At least three people were injured in a knife attack on a high speed train between the cities of Regensburg and Nuremberg in Germany on Saturday.
According to local police, the perpetrator had been apprehended. There were no immediate details about his identity.
"Several people were injured, according to preliminary information," police in Neumarkt in the Oberpfalz said in a statement, adding that "there is no danger."
According to media reports, out of three, two have been seriously injured in the attack.
The ICE high-speed train was stopped at Seubersdorf station in the country's south. A large police force was dispatched to the scene after receiving information about the attack.

In recent years, Germany has faced a double terror threat from jihadist and right-wing extremist groups.
Since 2015, there have been several attacks.
