With Arvind Kejriwal almost sealed his name for the Chief Minister of Delhi for the third time, speculations are being made that for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections it will be Arvind Kejriwal taking on Narendra Modi.
After the early trends came out in favour of AAP, a man was seen outside the AAP party office in Delhi holding a banner pitching Arvind Kejriwal as a PM candidate for Lok Sabha elections in 2024. The banner said '2024: Kejriwal vs Modi'.
During the Delhi election campaign, Narendra Modi and Arvind Kejriwal locked horns. While the Bharatiya Janata Party brought up the agenda of national interest on the other hand, Arvind Kejriwal ranted the agenda of development and of local relevance.
People are now seeing Kejriwal as the perfect candidate who can give a tough fight when it comes to the political field. It was him who thwarted the BJP from forming government in Delhi in 2013.

In 2019 Lok Sabha elections, AAP was a major hindrance for BJP in Delhi. However, in five of seven constituencies, the AAP finished third behind the Congress. In three of these constituencies, the AAP candidates forfeited their deposit. In contrast, the BJP had won all seven seats with 57 per cent vote share.
