The mystery revolving around Marco Troper's death has finally been solved. Marco Troper, 19, was the son of former YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki. As per reports, Marco Troper was found unconscious in his dorm room on UC Berkeley’s Clark Kerr campus on February 13. Ever since then Marco Troper's death reason or Marco Troper's cause of death was among the most searched queries by Americans. Now, Marco Troper's autopsy has been concluded and former YouTube CEO's son's death reason has been revealed. 

What happened to Marco Troper?

As per reports, Marco Troper's cause of death is an accidental drug overdose. A US media portal stated that Marco Troper died due to a combination of high amounts of alprazolam – an anti-anxiety drug sometimes sold as Xanax – as well as cocaine, amphetamine, and the antihistamine hydroxyzine. Furthermore, low levels of THC were also in his system. 

Officials suggest that the levels of alprazolam and cocaine found in Marco Troper’s blood were high enough to result in death. Marco Troper's cause of death has been listed as 'acute combined drug toxicity,' with the report noting that it is believed to have been an accidental overdose.

Marco Troper was a freshman in Math major at UC Berkeley’s Clark Kerr campus. After he was found dead, investigators 'suspected illicit and prescription drugs, including Percocet and Oxycodone” at the scene. 

Notably, Marco's grandmother, Esther Wojcicki, was quoted at the time of the incident saying Troper’s family feared he had started dabbling with drugs in college. "He ingested a drug, and we don’t know what was in it,” Esther said adding, "One thing we do know, it was a drug."

For the unversed, Marco Troper was one of the five children of former YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki and her husband, Dennis Troper.
