Last week, the world-famous company McDonald’s revealed that it will debut the brand-new version of the Big Mac in the United States swapping out the beef patties for tempura fried chicken.
“We are always looking to give our fans more ways to enjoy the classic menu items they know and love,” said McDonald’s representative.
McDonald’s briefly sold the Big Mac Chicken earlier this year in the UK. It became so popular that sold out just 10 days after its debut in the country. It was the most popular launch ever in UK and Ireland, said the chain.
The Chicken Big Mac will be available for a limited period at selected Miami-area locations. This trial has come after it debuted in the UK to rave reviews. Now, the famous food chain expects to get the same success in United State as well.
The Chicken Big Mac is somewhat similar to its meat sibling, just it replaces two burgers with tempura chicken patties. For sure it includes the signature Big Mac sauce, shredded lettuce, pickles and a slice of the yummiest American cheese.
The spokes of McDonald’s said, “While not everything we test makes it on our US menus, we'll use this time to gather feedback from both customers and restaurant crew as we consider opportunities to offer more delicious options in the future.”
McDonald’s revealed that in July that sales at its US restaurants jumped 3.7% in the second quarter.
