For the unversed, wrestler David Schultz twice slapped ABC News reporter John Stossel in the face amid an exposé on the business. In the documentary, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan recalled John Stossel asking him in an interview if they use razor blades to bleed. Following that John sued the WWE including McMohan and David Schultz. However, in 1987, John Stossel settled his lawsuit against David Schultz and Titan Sports (WWE). 

Currently, John Stossel is a well-known journalist and owns a YouTube channel named StosselTV with 990K subscribers. Furthermore, John Stossel's X account has over a million followers where he upload news video along with his own take. 

Talking about how much money John Stossel was paid by WWE to settle the case, US media reports suggest that Stossel settled the lawsuit against McMahon out of court for $400,000 (about $1.2 million in 2024).

Talking about Richard Belzer, he passed away at the age of 78. Richard Belzer was accidentally assaulted during a show by Hulk Hogan. Belzer repeatedly requested on his TV talk show Hot Properties that Hulk Hogan demonstrate a wrestling move. Hogan applied a front facelock, which caused Belzer to pass out, and he hit the back of his head on the floor when released. Belzer then started bleeding and he was hospitalised. Thereafter, he sued Hogan for $5 million and settled out of court for $400,000 in 1990.
