In order to provide jobs to the unemployed youth, the district administration will organize a mega job fair on Monday (November 6) in Ample Public School, Rohini Colony, Basti Peer Daad in which hundreds of jobs will be offered by leading companies.
Divulging the details, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal said that this mega job fair was being organized on the directions of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to provide jobs to every youth of the state. He envisioned that mega job fairs would act as a catalyst to open new vistas of employment for the youth of the district. He said that prominent companies including Paytm Services Private Limited, LIC India, HDFC Bank, Phonepe, Axis Bank, Solar First Energy Private Limited, Key 2 Success and others would hold interviews for the selection. He said that boys and girls could participate in this mega job fair and the minimum qualification was 10th, 12th, Graduation (BBA, BCA, B.Com any other), Post-Graduation (MBA/MCA any other). The salary package ranging from Rs 15000 to Rs 30000.
Sarangal aid that this was a golden chance for the unemployed youth to get gainfully employed by participating in the job fair. He said that the job fair had been working as a bridge between unemployed youths and employers providing employment opportunities to youths on the one hand while fulfilling the requirements of employers on the other.
