Lionel Messi is soon going to launch his fashion venture this summer featuring his own apparel collection. The full fashion rollout will start in August soon after the launch of his e-commerce site “The Messi Store”
He is all ready to set to follow the same footsteps as Chistiano Ronaldo, David Bechham and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. This 31-year-old Barcelona captain is collaborating with Ginny Hilfiger to work together on the project. Ginny said the brand would include a “sporty edge” focusing mainly on men wear and also includes women tops.

Some lucky customers might receive a special surprise because there are items that include an autograph from the five-time Ballon d’Or winner. In a talk with “Women Wear Daily” Ginny said “Leo is the greatest football player in the world and still has a lot of years left to play.”
“Also, he is recognized globally by all types of people even people who don’t watch foot ball.” She then praised Messi for being a humble, generous, kind and a great role model.
Talking about her duo with Messi she said “He has been involved since we started talking to the Messi family two-and –a-half years ago when we presented the idea to them.”
