At a time when US President Joe Biden has issued federal pardons to all the Americans who have been convicted at the national level of possessing small amounts of marijuana, a video of Michigan is going viral on social media. The Michigan Police were allegedly caught on camera harassing a black man over the mere smell of marijuana. In fact, Michigan's Livingstone County officers impounded the black man's vehicle despite the fact that the police dog sniffed and found nothing in his car or from his possession. Michigan Livingstone county video has been spreading like a wildfire on social media in the backdrop of US President Joe Biden's pardon to all Americans for simple possession of marijuana.
In the Michigan Livingstone County viral video, it can be seen a man filmed the officers who stopped him on the suspicion of possession of marijuana. In the video, it can be seen the man confronting the officers and asking 'Listen, officers, why are you impounding my car? What is your name? Can I get your name?' On this, one of the officers replied saying, 'Not gonna discuss this'. However, when the man asked the officer to reveal his name, he directly said no. The officer further stated that the Livingstone County Police is impounding their car. The man on this asked, 'Can I get my car back? Tell me the reason why I cannot get my car back.' Another officer tells him to call District Attorney. On this, the man asked why he need to contact the DA. The man then asks for the District Attorney's number. However, the cops did not give him. The cops then told him that they are impounding his car and the search warrant will be given in the morning.
Listening to this, the man again asks if there is no search warrant why can't he take his car? The cop told him to come in the morning. The man then asks the cop what they will do if he goes inside his car and takes it. The cops replied that he will be arrested for obstruction of justice. The man then clearly asks why they are impounding his car, and the cop replies, 'for the odor of marijuana'.

US President Joe Biden's federal pardons
US President Joe Biden has pardoned all Americans who have been convicted at the national level of possessing small amounts of marijuana. Reportedly,
officials estimate about 6,500 people with federal convictions for simple possession of marijuana will benefit. Furthermore, the Democratic president said he would call upon all state governors to issue their own marijuana pardons. Notably, this is the first major step toward decriminalizing marijuana by Joe Biden in order to fulfill a campaign pledge to erase prior federal possession convictions and begin the process of potentially loosening the federal classification of the drug.
