A shocking incident has come to light from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh where a 13-year-old girl has been raped by 80 men. She was forced into prostitution for over eight months.
Police informed that 10 men, including a B.Tech student, were arrested on Tuesday, April 19.
The victim was adopted by Sawarna Kumari, a lady who befriended her mother at a hospital during the Covid-19 epidemic in June 2021. The girl’s mother died soon after as a result of Covid-19, and the girl was abducted by the lady without her father’s knowledge.
In August 2021, the father of the girl approached the police and filed a complaint. Based on this, police identified the main accused as the woman, Sawarna Kumari.
On questing the victim and the accused, police discovered the shocking reality.
The girl had been sent to different brothel houses in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The police identified Sawanra Kumari, the woman who had taken the girl away and forced her into prostitution. Moreover, police had identified 80 accused and had begun arresting them.
“One of the accused in this case is in London,” said ASP Supraja. Till now, Police have seized one car, 53 cell phones, three autos and bikes from the accused.
