PM Modi’s Jalandhar Visit: Know the roads closed and diverted routes for 24th May

All these route diversions will come into effect from 3 pm to 7 pm.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Punjab visit is all set to begin from today. On 23rd Mat 2024 PM Modi will address a rally in Patiala. On 24th May 2024 first he will go to Gurdaspur then in second half will take part in a public rally in Jalandhar. PM Mod’s rally in Jalandhar will be held in PAP Ground. For certain security reason few roads will remain closed while some routes will get diverted in Jalandhar. All these diversions will come in effect from 3 pm to 7 pm.

Commissionerate Police Jalandhar has announced the following route diversions for heavy and commercial vehicles.

1. Amritsar to Ludhiana

   - Diversion Route: Subhanpur → Kapurthala → Kala Sangian → Noor Mehal → Phillaur

2. Ludhiana to Amritsar

   - Diversion Route: Phagwara → Mehtiana → Hoshiarpur → Tanda → Begowal → Nadala → Subhanpur

3. Ludhiana to Himachal Pradesh/Pathankot

   - Diversion Route: Phagwara → Mehtiana → Hoshiarpur → Tanda

PM Modi is visiting Punjab to campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections and to boost the morale of BJP candidates.
