On his two-day Northeast tour, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated development projects worth Rs 4000 crore and laid the foundation stone for construction of greenfield Airport at Hollongi, in Arunachal Pradesh. 

PM Modi arrived in Assam on Friday where he was shown black flags in protest against the citizenship bill. In Tripura, three MPs of opposition CPI (M) announced that they will boycott Modi programme.

Prime Minister halted overnight in Guwahati, before travelling to Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday morning. He will travel back to Assam to address a rally at Changsari which is around 30 km from Guwahati, and then he will be travelling to Tripura to address another rally in Agartala.
