Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday kickstarted his Punjab Lok Sabha Campaigns from Patiala. PM Modi was joined by Hans Raj Hans, Preneet Kaur, and other leaders on the stage. PM Modi addressed the Patiala rally for around 30 minutes and listed the works done by the Central Government for the people of Punjab. What raised everyone's eyes when PM Modi spoke on MSP. Notably, farmers of Punjab are protesting against the Modi Government over multiple issues including a law on MSP. However, due to the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections, no conclusion has been reached between the Central Government and the farmers.

During the Patiala Rally, PM Modi said, "Punjab has been blessed with the blessings of five rivers. The farmers here turn soil into gold, but the INDI Alliance lies even to the farmers and they did not fulfill their promises. In the last 10 years, the government has bought wheat and (dhan) on a record number. In the last 10 years, the MSP has shot up to 2.5 times what it was before. Under the PM Kishan Nidhi Yoijana, farmers are getting up to Rs 30,000. To drive away from chemical farming, our government is focusing on natural farming."

"India can only develop if Patiala will develop. In the next 5 years, India is going to be a manufacturing hub. It will directly benefit Punjab. We have allowed foreign universities to open their campuses in India. We have been spending hard on players and sports infrastructure as India will be hosting the Olympics in 2033 and the Youth Olympics in 2029," added PM Modi.

Slamming the Congress, PM Modi in Patiala said, "This is the same Congress that divided the country for power, and the partition was done in such a way that for 70 years we had to view Kartarpur Sahib through binoculars, which was humiliating for everyone. I tell the Congress people that during the Bangladesh war, when over 90,000 Pakistani soldiers surrendered, the winning card was in our hands. I confidently say that if Modi had been there at that time, he would have ensured we got Kartarpur Sahib back before releasing their soldiers.."

"Today, in Lakhpat, the last village of the Kutch desert, I have restored the gurdwara to its original state. Now, I am also expanding it," added PM Modi.
